In a recent data analysis project, I delved into COVID-19 data to understand its global impact. Here are some key findings:

🧹 Data Cleaning with Excel: We began by meticulously cleaning and prepping the data using Excel, ensuring accuracy and reliability.

🔍 Data Source: Our World in Data: We sourced our COVID-19 data from this trusted repository, providing a solid foundation for analysis.

🔢 Analysis with Google Cloud BigQuery: Leveraging the power of Google Cloud BigQuery, we performed in-depth data analysis, extracting valuable insights from the vast dataset.

📊 Visualization Tool: Tableau: To bring the data to life, we used Tableau to create interactive and informative visualizations. Our Tableau Dashboard showcases key COVID-19 insights.

Here are some findings:

1. Total Global Death Percentage: 🌐 The global death percentage, calculated by dividing total global deaths by cases and multiplying by 100, stands at 0.90%. Monitoring this trend is crucial as we navigate the pandemic.

2. Countries with Highest Death Counts: 📈 We've identified the countries with the highest death counts, shedding light on the areas most affected. United States, Brazil, India, Russia, Mexico, United Kingdom, Peru, Italy are among those facing significant challenges.

3. Total Deaths by Continent: 🌎 Our analysis breaks down total COVID-19 deaths by continent, highlighting the regions grappling with the highest mortality rates. Europe, Asia, North America, South America.

4. Percentage of Population Infected: 🧑🤝🧑 By calculating the percentage of a country's population infected, we gain insight into the virus's reach.
